A Lemon Flavoured Mishap
Okay, you wouldn't really expect to read about mishaps in a blog about positivity, but this one is a little bit funny and the photo (while lacking in both technical and artistic merit) is too good to waste.
New Year's day we ate out. We were too full for dessert though, so we bought a beautiful little lemon meringue pie to eat at home while we watched television.
As we headed for home there was a storm brewing. With lots of lightning flashing across the sky, we knew the rain wasn't far off. Would we make it home before the downpour?
The good news is we made it home with minutes to spare. The bad news is that in our rush we had a minor mishaps with the cake.
Luckily it was well wrapped so, despite getting squashed, it stayed clean and we were still able to enjoy it.
It didn't look very appetizing, but it tasted delicious.
